Example is the water can. Buy it at 4.95 during the special or 400 (9.99 + tax) gems after special. If I had the 4.95 I could get a prescription filled. Each special event now requires something being bought instead of building, making, or helping other islands. King is making it impossible to complete some of the events and all you have to do is look at the islands you visit to see what is not completed.like the drafting tables and bow we will be able to add the Christmas tree.

This game might get uninstalled from my phone and I have been playing almost since the beginning. This game is definitely not for anyone who does not have a credit or debit card. REVISED AND EDITED: Once I passed Level 50, which took a year to do, the game became far more playable. It still takes way too long to earn enough for the ridiculously priced factories.

The current ones that I need are $200k each. I cannot afford the factories and all of the animal workers such as the otters and the sloths. The additional Grill would have been fabulous, but it's another $175k.

Not happening. It's just impossible. The solution has made itself very obvious. This game requires a huge amount of patience and a lot of waiting. At the moment the gameplay is still interesting enough that I'm willing to do that. How long that will last I do not know Good game, more about resource management then time management which I actually prefer when doing these types of games.

It is extremely frustrating that the moment something opens up at a new level the traders all start asking for those items, long before you can install the factory. I have to constantly wait for boats to leave and continually delete orders because I don't have the goods to give them. I don't have the factories. Surely, the programming can be done in such a way that customers will only ask for what you can produce. It would be far less irritating.

It does not help either that the boats come along and ask for so many of items that take as much as 12 hours to make each and they want 5 of them. Just how are we supposed to fill an order like that? Oh yes, pay real money to speed up the process.

I have noticed that the people who actually have the advanced factories and have expanded greatly usually have a lot of real money objects on their Islands which means they are spending cash to advance in the game. The game is story driven, but it takes so long to get the factories so that you can fill the orders for the characters, who will then continue their story, that I have long since lost track of the storyline.

I think I'm about at the end. It's too bad, because the storyline is good and the characters are quite funny (I adore Pike!) and I would have liked to finish it. The most recent updates have done something to the game and it is not my OS causing it. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

The game is now very laggy, takes a long time to load and I have contacted customer support several times asking why the market now only has three or four people in it at any given time. It used to have about 20. I don't think everybody just suddenly stopped playing. As usual, King does not answer anything.

Customer service with King games has always been bad. It seems to be part and parcel of the mobile game industry. For now I will continue to play. If they don't start fixing some of the things in the game, it won't be long.
